Can anyone help please. While driving home today the drivers side wiper stuck half way up the screen. I pulled over and moved it back to the park position. When turning them on again it moves back to halfway up the screen and stops. The passenger wiper works fine. Any ideas?

hi , i had this problem when i first got mine, you have to take the whole section of the wiper linkage from the car , once off you then have to seperate the spindles as this is the cause it gets stiff due to loss of grease , i think there is a diagram in this topic and i think it shows you how to do it hope this helps it took me about 2 hours from start to finnish , another little tip while you take out the wiper linkage change the filter thats there also as it will be harder to change when needed many thanks smoggy look here no 45 in Faqs, Common Questions And Solutions Edited by smoggy7

Thanks for the reply. The reain has let up a bit so I have checked and the linkage has dropped off the wiper. It wont snap back in as it seems worn out. Can you buy just the bits I need or do I have to buy a new linkage? Thanks

this happened to me s well,

i nust pushed them back togehter and drill a small hole thruough both the link and the ball joint, then put some garden wire thru and twisted it to keep them togehter. only had to replace the wire once in 2 years, some do a more technical job anddrill and tap with a nut and bolt
